This Is The Zelda Fan Base

The name is The Satellite. I started this website because I am an avid Legend of Zelda fan and I realized that there is a lot of history between the Zelda games. I am posting my ideas of what happens to Link in between each adventure and what order the adventures take place. I also want to know other people's ideas about the history in between the legends as well. To do this, click on the link (no pun intended) below that says "Post Your Comments" and follow the instructions.

My Ideas About The History In Between The Legends

I believe that the Link in each Legend of Zelda game is the same Link. Link is the Hero of Time, he can travel through time (we don't know how besides how he did in Ocarina of Time), so why couldn't he travel to different periods in history? As for why he knows nothing, I believe that large leaps through time cause events to warp, such as Link losing his memory and assuming a new identity. Zelda may or may not be the same in each game, but she's not the one I'm worried about. I do believe. however, that Ganondorf is always the same. Link is always the same in each game in my mind. As for what order they go in, that's a tough one. I think that the Wind Waker is definitely the last one to date, but the others are hard to determine. As for the first one, I'd have to give that title to Ocarina of Time, where Link first learns to time travel, and Majora's Mask comes right after that. Oracle of Ages is all over the place, so I can't place that one. Link's Awakening probably comes after A Link to the Past, due to the fact that the Master Sword shows up in that one. I'd say that the Legend of Zelda came after A Link to the Past, before Link's Awakening, and the Adventure of Link comes subsequently after that. I don't know enough about the Four Swords to give that a time limit, but I at least know that the Minish Cap comes before that. I can't place Oracle of Seasons because, again, I don't know enough to place it. Finally, for Twilight Princess, I don't know exactly where to place it, but it's somewhere in between all that mess. What I truly believe about Twilight Princess is this: after the Wind Waker, Link decides to return to the time when Ganondorf reappears in Hyrule and stop him from conquering the world again. Due to time leaps, he again loses his memory and assumes a new identity. Years pass until Link is an adult, and that's where Twilight Princess begins. And there you have it, my long-winded beliefs.

The Legends and Their Graphics

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker probably had the corniest graphics of all time for one of the greatest game series of all time. Too bad, because it was an awesome game, though.
